Most everyone that drinks wine has heard of Bordeaux. It is some of the best wine in the world. The elegance and body of these wines have been desired by wine aficionados since the Romans planted vines 2000 years ago. And I am no different than the English merchants that first exported Bordeaux in the 12th century; I love these wines. The well balanced fruit, the taste of the terroir and the artistry of the wine maker combine to produce exceptional wines.
I have been pursuing French wines for a long time. From exploring the Cote d’ Or in my early 20’s, to roaming the hillsides of Châteauneuf-du-pape and devouring the rosés of Provence, I have spent years learning about and loving French wine. So much so that I was inspired to obtain my certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. So, I guess it’s no surprise that I ended up here, importing excellent small production family owned wines.
A few years ago, my close friend and fellow wine-lover Franck Leger and I started exploring the Bordeaux region. We were delighted by the passion and quality of wines we discovered. And I am so excited to share those with you. We carefully selected the wines – choosing only the very best wine, made by artisan wine makers in small production. I look forward to sharing these wines and the stories of the families that make them.
